Pork Ribs are the perfect BBQ family feast

  • Baby Back Pork Ribs
  • Olive Oil
  • Sweet Smokey BBQ Rub
  • 2-3 Knobs Butter
  • Drizzle of Honey
  • ⅓ Cup Apple Juice
  • Fav Rib Sauce

  1. Firstly, remove the membrane off the back of the ribs using a butter knife. The membrane is the silver skin on the back of the ribs. Separate the membrane from the ribs by gently prying the membrane from the bone with the butter knife while holding onto the ribs. You can use paper towel to get a better grip.
  2. Apply a bit of olive oil over the ribs then apply the dry rub.
  3. Get your smoker to a temp of 120℃/250℉ and smoke ribs for 2 hours.
  4. After 2 hours, take ribs off the smoker and place in foil, add a few knobs butter, drizzle of honey, 1/3 cup apple juice and wrap ribs.
  5. To ensure an even glaze, warm your fav sauce so you’re not applying cold product to meat that is still cooking.
  6. After the hour, take the ribs out of the smoker, unfold to expose the tops only then baste ribs in your fav sauce and return to smoker uncovered for a further 20min.
  7. After glaze is set, remove ribs and serve for a delicious pork rib meal.
